Album: On the Land

We spent most of the week just hanging out on the land. We flew (and crashed!) Mario's remote controled airplanes, lit Brian's fireworks, and launch a few model rockets. Mario and Brian were bored, so took off on Thursday for some more driving. I took

Album: Little Bighorn Battlefield

On Wednesday, I visited the Little Bighorn Battlefield National Monument which is the location of Custer's Last Stand. A very interesting site. I drove east from the land through the Crow reservation to get to the battlefield - neat.

Album: Yellowstone

On Thursday after everyone else left, I had a nice drive to Yellowstone and saw the hot springs on the north side of the park. On the way to Billings, I stopped and watched the praire dogs plan - cool!

Album: Pictograph & Pillar

On Friday, I visited the Pictrograph Cave State Park and enjoyed looking at drawings on the cave wall. Then I went to Pompey's Pillar which was a stop for Clark on the famous Lewis and Clark trip.
