Geoff and I went observing at NASA's Infrared Telescope Facility (IRTF). The weather was awful! Just awful! We got maybe 1/4 of a night out of 2 possible nights and that was through holes in the clouds. Very frustrating.

Karl M. and I went observing at NASA's IRTF 3m telescope on Mauna Kea in Hawaii in August 2005. We took lots of spectra with SpeX of extinction curves stars to study the structure of the near-infrared (0.8-5.5 micron) diffuse extinction curve.
